Hire an Aerospace Worker via National Emergency Grant

Brevard Workforce won a National Emergency Grant to aid businesses in hiring and training transitioning aerospace workers displaced from specific companies affected by changes to the space program at Kennedy Space Center.

The overall purpose of the grant is to get employees trained while providing business with salary support during the training period.

This special On-The-Job Training (OJT) program can help make it possible for your business to hire and train a displaced aerospace worker from one of the companies significantly impacted by layoffs.

“There are many businesses that have been waiting, looking carefully at the payroll, trying to find a way to move forward,” said JEFF SCHIFF, Business Liaison, Brevard Workforce.  “This special OJT program—in many cases—can be the difference businesses need to take the step to grow again while adding needed talent to their team.”

START HERE. The form you must fill out is short and easy.  This special OJT fund was provided under a National Emergency Grant and applies only to aerospace workers from affected aerospace businesses.
