In order for you to access assistance from these programs, which could include educational and training scholarships and/or participation in a paid On-the-Job Training (OJT) opportunity under the Aerospace National Emergency Grant … you must DUAL REGISTER and you must meet the following criteria:
Get Registered both at Brevard Workforce’s Aerospace Database and at EmployFlorida.com.
Update your resume using the C-STAR designation, which is what Employers use to locate aerospace workers qualifying for OJT for potential employment opportunities.
1. Have a notice of lay-off or can attest to a layoff within 90 days or have been laid-off no earlier than July 1, 2010.
2. Been an employee of record for one of the following companies supporting the space industry at Kennedy Space Center:

Brevard Achievement Center Creative Management Technology (CMT) Delaware North Dynamic Corporation EG&G Indyne
Innovative Health Applications Jacobs Technology

Note: A $3,000 maximum per individual for scholarships from any aerospace funding stream applies. Aerospace workers meeting the above criteria regardless of scholarship funding status will be considered eligible for OJT opportunities under this grant.
SECURE YOUR ELIGIBILITY: Delay in registration on both websites may result in the inability to provide services. Even if you are not sure if you will take advantage of AWT program services, Register now while you are still employed to SECURE YOUR ELIGIBILITY in the event you decide later to turn to AWT for assistance. If you lose your job and have not registered with both EmployFlorida.com and Brevard Workforce AWT Program, we will not be able to help you.
