Community Support Resources

Brevard Workforce recognizes that the need for workforce assistance is community wide. We are actively planning and coordinating community-based learning sessions, community networking and other activities that can assist in bringing people who need jobs together with various experts who have vital information or with businesses who may, under the right circumstances, be able to provide jobs.

Our community-based initiatives involve many volunteers, from many walks of life offering different kinds of support groups, knowledge and opportunity.

Our efforts are focused on bringing together groups that can help each other transition from one job to another, help foster a solution where we thought there might not be one, or open a door to a new way to move forward.

These efforts include overseeing the release of timely and needed information and/or services to dislocated aerospace workers, across all our communities.

Two of our initiatives are:

Community Learning Sessions, on a wide variety of subjects, held at Career Centers.  These Community Learning Sessions are free, please check out the calendar and search for Community Resources.

A new and exciting pilot program is Brevard is called Faith in the Future. Within the faith-based community, this pilot program is quickly activating a network of Job Clubs, engaging a strong support network. Learn more.
