Ticket to Work

Ticket to Work - Click Here To ApplyThe Ticket to Work Program provides disabled individuals wishing to work with real choices in obtaining the services and resources they need to find and maintain employment, while providing a safety net to help during this transition.

Brevard Workforce is proud to be an Employment Network participating in Ticket To Work since 2008.

If you are an adult and receive Social Security disability or SSI disability benefits, you qualify for the Ticket to Work program.

To encourage your return to work and to help you achieve self-sufficiency, there are many work incentives available to assist you.

Brevard Workforce staff is very familiar with and ready to help you in identifying the ones applicable to your situation.

These include:

  • A nine month trial work period where you can earn any amount of wages while still receiving your benefits
  • Expedited reinstatement of benefits for any month for up to 36 months after you’ve completed your trial work period in which you were not able to earn substantial wages due to your disability
  • Protection from a continuing disability review (CDR) while you are using your Ticket
