FLORIDA REGISTERED APPRENTICESHIP & TRAINING PROGRAM
Individuals can gain valuable on-the-job training and obtain the necessary training to master their trade while earning a wage. Experienced instructors for the classes give students hands-on knowledge in the construction field.
VETERANS AFFAIRS WORK STUDY PROGRAM
This program is available to any student receiving Veterans Affairs education benefits who is attending school three-quarters of the time or more.
VETERANS AFFAIRS CHAPTER 31 VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION & EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM
This program assists veterans with service-connected disabilities to achieve employment or enhance their ability to function independently at home and in the community.
SMART START FOR NEW VETERANS
This online jobs program matches ex-enlistees with major corporations in the Southeastern United States. The program is free and open to all active enlistees who have decided to leave the armed services.
DEPENDENTS EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE
This program offers up to 45 months of education benefits to eligible dependents of veterans who are permanently and totally disabled due to a service-related condition, or who died while on active duty or as a result of a service-related condition.
WORKFORCE INVESTMENT ACT (WIA)
WIA is a program administered by Brevard Workforce that provides training opportunities to economically disadvantaged individuals, those with serious employment barriers or handicaps, and those who qualify under the Economically Disadvantaged Workers Assistance Act (EDWAA). This training can be either classroom or on-the-job training and is designed to lead to permanent employment.
