Brevard Workforce Faith In the Future program featured in “The Florida Catholic” newspaper

The current edition of “The Florida Catholic” newspaper has an article about the Brevard Workforce Faith In the Future program.

About 20 men and women gathered in the community room at Our Saviour Parish in Cocoa Beach. Although they came from all walks of life, different faith denominations, and from throughout Brevard County, they all had one thing in common — they wanted a job.

On Aug. 22, the parish hosted a job-seekers workshop, inviting parishioners and members of the community for a class on résumé writing presented by the Brevard County Workforce. The parish hopes this initial offering will lay the foundation for an employment ministry, where those seeking employment can turn not only for job-seeking skills, but for encouragement as well.
