Employed Worker Training Program
If you are a business in good standing licensed to do business in Brevard County in one a key business cluster (aerospace, healthcare, manufacturing or commercial construction) and your business could improve the quality of your workforce through enhancing skills of currently employed, you may be eligible for training dollars. Business must provide a one-on-one match of money or in-kind contributions for each dollar the Brevard Workforce invests in training. Start the application process here.

Work Opportunity Tax Credit
For this incentive, available to employers who hire welfare transition participants, employers must complete a pre-screening notice (IRS Form 8850) before hiring a qualified applicant and must complete ETA Form 9062 from the employee if he/she has already been conditionally certified by the state.
