A National Emergency Grant (NEG) is providing dollars to help businesses be able to hire and train recently displaced aerospace workers.
“We are very fortunate to have received this National Emergency Grant, in time to apply it for the benefit of transitioning workers and the community at large. Businesses need the help today or yesterday to consider hiring decisions, so they can turn this amazing available talent opportunity to benefit their enterprises,” said LISA RICE, President, Brevard Workforce.
“The funding for this portion of the program is moving; we have many businesses taking advantage of the incentives to hire. We want to see even more jobs open up here in Brevard and in surrounding counties so that some of our families can consider remaining in their homes or our region, with minimal upheaval.”
